Keerthana Jinachandran is a DHA-licensed Occupational Therapist with over six (6) years of clinical experience. Originally from India and raised in Oman, she began her career in hand rehabilitation before discovering her passion for pediatric occupational therapy. Keerthana is a member of the Emirates Society of Occupational Therapists (ESOT) under the Emirates Medical Association (EMA) and a lifetime member of the All India Occupational Therapists Association (AIOTA).

Keerthana is passionate about working with children and their families through a neuro-affirming, strengths-based and child-centered approach.  She believes in understanding each child’s unique sensory, motor, emotional and functional needs while recognizing and building upon their individual strengths. Keerthana’s goal is to make therapy meaningful, engaging and relevant to the child’s everyday participation at home, school and within the community.  Keerthana possesses specialist knowledge and clinical experience for the following:

• Beautiful Minds Astitva in Bengaluru, India.
• A.J. Hospital and Research Centre in Mangaluru, India for two (2) years.

Keerthana has attended 3 course and 8 workshops / seminars over the years to continue her professional development and enhance her skills as an Occupational Therapist.  A selection of these courses/ workshops include Sensory Integration Continuing Education Certificate Program conducted by the University of Southern California (USC), DIRFloortime® 101 training through ICDL, Certification in The Listening Program, Certification in Hand Splinting and King of Swings: Hands-on Sensorimotor Workshop by Alex Lopiccolo. She is also a Mental Health First Aider for Adults.

Keerthana completed a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from the School of Allied Health Sciences, Manipal Academy of Higher Education in 2019.
