Fathima Nida is a Speech & Language Pathologist at Q Enrichment Center.  She grew up in Dubai and is fluent in English, Malayalam, Hindi and Kannada, with limited working proficiency in Arabic.  She brings strong clinical capability across pediatric, school-based and adult neurogenic communication disorders, with additional experience in tele-therapy and parent coaching.

Fathima has over five (5) years of experience working as a Speech & Language Pathologist.  Her clinical work includes providing assessment and intervention for children and adults with speech, language, fluency, articulation, cognitive-communication and voice disorders.  She possesses specialist knowledge and clinical experience in the following:

  • Fluency and stuttering
  • Articulation and phonological disorders
  • Language delays and Developmental Language Disorders
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Down Syndrome
  • Neurogenic communication disorders (Aphasia, Dysarthria, Cognitive-Linguistic impairments)
  • Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
  • AAC (low-tech and high-tech systems including sign language, BoardMaker, Avaz)
  • Tele-therapy and remote intervention
  • Parent and caregiver coaching

 

Throughout her career, she has also demonstrated proficiency in standardized assessment tools including CELF-5, CELF Preschool-2, DLS, WAB, FDA, QNST, SSI, and multiple computerized diagnostic systems such as GRBAS, CAPE-V, Dr. Speech and MDVP.

Prior to joining Q Enrichment Center, Fathima was employed as a Speech and Language Pathologist by:

  • Bloom Therapy Speech Center in Dubai, UAE for over three (3) years.
  • Stamurai (Remote and part-time) as an Online SLP Consultant for a year.
  • S. Hegde Charitable Hospital in Karnataka, India for under a year.
  • All India Institute of Speech & Hearing in Karnataka, India for over a year.

 

Fathima has completed numerous professional courses and certifications to develop her skills as a Speech and Language Pathologist. These include:
Michael-Palin Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Makaton Level 1 and 2, PROMPT, Feeding Therapy (Sensorimotor Approach), Gestalt Language Processing, FEES & Post-Laryngectomy Rehabilitation, Early Childhood Care and Education, and Basic Life Support (BLS).

Fathima received her Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from the All India Institute of Speech & Hearing, India, in 2020 and her Bachelor of Science in Audiology & Speech Language Pathology from Manipal College of Health Professions, Manipal, India in 2018.
