Deepa Nundkumar is a Senior Occupational Therapist at Q Enrichment Center.  Ms. Nundkumar is from South Africa and a native English speaker.  Ms. Nundkumar is a member of the Health Professions Council of South Africa, Occupational Therapy Association South Africa, South African Institute of Sensory Integration and Medical Protection Society.

Ms. Nundkumar has over ten (10) years of experience working as an Occupational Therapist of which majority of her experience was in South Africa and two (2) years in Saudi Arabia.  Ms. Nundkumar’s clinical experience includes providing services to individuals from infancy to senior citizens, and she possesses specialist knowledge, clinical experience for the following: Cerebral Palsy, Developmental delays, Learning disabilities, Attention Deficit Disorder / Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder, Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Upper Limb injuries and Spinal cord injuries.

Prior to joining Q Enrichment Center in February 2019, Ms. Nundkumar was employed by Life Healthcare: Entabeni Rehabilitation Unit (“Entabeni”) in Durban, South Africa for approximately two (2) and a half years.  Prior to Entabeni, Ms. Nundkumar was a lecturer in the Department of Occupational Therapy at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal (Westville Campus).  During this period, she lectured and supervised undergraduate students from year 1 to year 4 of study.  Ms. Nundkumar was with the Armed Forces Hospital Programme Southern Region in Khamis Mushayt, Saudi Arabi for two (2) years.

Ms. Nundkumar has attended over twelve (12) courses over the years to continue her professional development and enhance her skills as an Occupational Therapist.  A selection of these courses includes, Introduction to Neuro Rehabilitation, Hands on Autism 1 and 2, Splinting: A Rehabilitation Approach and Sensory Integration Theory Course.

Ms. Nundkumar completed a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from the University of Kwazulu-Natal in 2009.  Ms. Nundkumar also completed a Master of Early Childhood Intervention from the University of Pretoria in 2014.
